Traffic

Traffic is like a life, where every one is pressing accelerator as hard as they can to reach to their destination as soon as possible. Some one walking, some one on bike, some one in a auto, some one in car so some in luxury cars - the same way as we born with our abilities, talents and we develop our skills (power booster fuels) .

Everyone in the world has come with some or other talent, and with his own uniqueness - quite similar to the the variations in the same model of a car -some of them get in hands of decent users so got lucky to be clean daily and have regular maintenance, getting extended life. Only some of them get lucky to mark their space as vintage cars when they are old, some of them get into accidents, most of them get into regular users and achieve their normal life; really speaking how many cars are produced and destroyed every year only few cares. Some luxury cars have the specialty that they are too expensive and have so much of comfort that the owner never drives his car, someone else drives the car of him.

We all are a one or  the other vehicle and running in the race of life, everyone behind his goal his destination. The beauty is hidden between, no matter how much ones prove that the 390cc bike has the highest acceleration but most of the times in traffic a simple 60cc bike goes much ahead of this 390cc bike. The more bigger vehicle a car or a bus will have no room to move even.  In such scenario, actually people with no vehicle make their path the easiest way and go where ever they like. And everyone in their vehicle keep honking or asking other one to move so he himself can get space to move ahead.

Most of the time, the route remain same, the vehicle is also in excellent condition however the time to destination depends on the external factors - the roadblocks! which are never in your control. But what is in control is your brake, your accelerator and best part is your mobility/flexibility. Don't you ever realize when at toll plaza the line next to you always runs faster than yours! In traffic jam if it been a cycle I would have pick up in my hands and just passed the traffic - that would be much faster than hours of standing and burning fuel in pollution!. The funniest part is in severe traffic jam situation people get course corrected with people with no vehicle; or from people who temporary left their vehicle and peeped in to drive the people who are stuck with their vehicles.

Consider the above scenarios, with only two changes vehicle/car/bike as a human showing their skills and wealth status and destination as the goal...

The time to reach the goal and the achieved satisfaction lies within us, the choices we make (the routes we have taken), how much flexible we are (can you come out of your comfort zone of being a car or a Bike to a person without anything!!

Life is same, the more rich you become the more baggage you carry every time. and since you become rich you will find people to work for you, it becomes hard to find a way for yourself by yourself. No matter how smart one person is, having degree from IIM however situations do come that even an IIM passout doesn't get a job, but a person who has not even studied has become a businessman and hires a IIM passout!!

The biggest part is if you have a destination with you, the ultimate goal of your life definitely you will reach there one day; what if there is no determined destination you will keep laundering here and there and not sure how much of vehicle life will be left, that it can bring you to the destination before it breaks-up!

Like traffic moves on, keep moving the life - we do need to apply brakes sometimes, many times give way to other people , many times drop down from own vehicle ( be rooted to ground, never forget from where you begin) but satisfaction remains once we reach the destination. What we can do more than pressing hard on acceleration is prevention from failure - regular maintenance and refueling of vehicle ( fresh air, water, food and regular exercise) and plan and select the best route to destination ( choices we make - in study, in career, in making friends etc.).

And what if you reach the destination, plan for next destination! Because if you stop running the vehicle the parts will get rusted and it needs even more heavy maintenance to bring back in running condition. You decide your way.

  1. Great correlation! And well thought through. A few comments -

    1. You raise a good point of flexibility in adopting new skills (vehicles) to get ahead in life and reach destination faster. I believe, in addition to flexibility, one should also learn to enjoy the journey wherever they are. Turn on the music if they are in a car, click pictures if they are foot, etc. We should take life as a journey rather than a series of incremental goals.

    2. The goals should also be calibrated based on a person’s skills and interests. Not everyone needs to go to IIM. A technician at a garage can also turn out to be a great job. I think people fall into the trap of financial status. Even if you are satisfied doing what you do, what if you don’t earn as much. How to fill that monetary gap between a mechanic and a manager? Even I don’t have the answer yet!

All in all, a great post and keep writing!

Cycle Uncle

I started running , mainly jogging I believe at an age of 26 years, and then I get some sever asthama which made me stop again. I restarted it with small runs the best I could make it with 10Kms in 67 minutes. However, this doesn't continue much longer as my allergies went up and I got my asthama back. So Jogging was on and Off. Saying all about the reasons of why I can't run more or faster, however good thing is nevertheless I didn't ever do to my best I keep trying. While running its always an ongoing   tussle, ok that's it, no we decided the target for 5Km today, no-no let's do tomorrow, ok let's walk for a while..oh I am moving out of breadth now not anymore…etc. etc. While I was fighting with the thoughts and determination; there is this uncle running bare feet, holding his sleepers in left hand and holding cycle with right hand. He must be in his 70's , with grey hairs and thin body. Seeing him running at with so determination; the tussle go

Self Motivation is the biggest key over all other motivations - it is like the air you breathe every second which keeps you live. Why is self motivation important for students ? How does self motivation lead to success ? How self motivated are you ? Is motivation a skill? How you develop self-motivation ? No, I am not here to give answers and knowledge for above questions. This blog is the mere attempt of the real beginning of my writing attempt. Many times I think that I am pro in this, My thinking , the analogies , the examples, ideas is different and is very creative.  And I should definitely write it and publish it as a book, it will help someone somewhere. The best part of mind is, once it starts building there is no resistance in between and thoughts simply build up and UP. When it comes to reality, really my hand shakes when I pickup a pen - because I can think fast however writing seems really not best at it. I have published a book, ok its two books basically same
